Meet Joshua Kolasinski
Small business owner, husband, father, and Christian running to modernize how voters communicate with Congress.
I run a small business that installs, tests, and repairs medical equipment. I can turn a wrench as well as navigate software. More importantly, I know the value of Integrity, Character, and Trust, three qualities that degrade in Washington every election cycle. I’m a husband, a dad of three, and a Christian.
Raised in Ohio, my family has lived in Delaware, OH since 2012, where my wife is a nursing instructor at a local community college and our kids are everything. I’m running for Congress because our district needs representation that’s in the interest of the people more than the political theatrics of recent years. We need our federal taxes to be used in our communities and not in more wars, or corporate welfare.
A Bold Vision. Real Solutions.
I’ve voted for both Democrats and Republicans most of my life, so I consider myself an Independent. When I look at our history, both parties deserve plenty of blame and both establishments are out of touch with the American people.
I’m running as a Democrat because of the reality of our two-party system, and the Democratic base is finally going to be heard. I chose Democrats because the Republicans chose to capitulate to the current executive branch and the billionaire class.
Ohio has some problems, just to mention a few:
For decades, our policies have been driven by whoever has the most money. The loudest voice in the room isn't always the right one.
Data centers
Data centers are coming to our towns and trying to leave their energy and water costs to Ohioans.
School voucher programs
School voucher programs are trying to fund for-profit schools at the cost of public education for Ohio’s youth.
Rural hospitals
Rural hospitals are in jeopardy due to Medicaid cuts while still providing medical care to those who need it.

I want to modernize voter engagement
My opponent, Jim Jordan, has been in office for nearly 2 decades, he is the definition of a career politician. Jim Jordan wants to save federal dollars by not bringing them back to his district while supporting a war that’s costing a billion dollars per day. This is on top of degraded integrity related to Ohio State and Epstein sexual abuse scandals.
I am not a party line politician. I want to modernize voter engagement during my term to shape the way I represent.
